Annabelle Fitzgerald is a fashion design graduate from Massey University, Wellington New Zealand. 

 

During her third year of study she travelled to the United Kingdom to specialise in knitwear design at Nottingham Trent University.

 

Her graduate collection 't r a c e' showcases her current research into patternmaking methods that respond to the organic and fluid human form. Dressing the body in a way that embraces movement and addresses tension points known to many ‘traditionally-cut’ garments.

 

Other projects have involved interactive sculpture, experimental pattern cutting and hand knitted textiles.
